Avaya announced late last week that the long-awaited acquisition of Nortel Enterprise Solutions is finally complete! Avaya can now get on with the business of enhancing their market position by offering more communications solutions for businesses. As well as this, Nortel had many channel partners which will further increase the reach of Avaya.

With the acquisition of Nortel Enterprise Solutions, Avaya will also be gaining some of Nortel’s top level staff such as the former Enterprise Solutions President, Joel Hackney. With luck we should be seeing some great things from Avaya!
