Yahoo and Microsoft have finalised the details of their no-cash partnership that will see the two companies combine search and advertising in an effort to oust Google from the search throne.
A lot of advertisers have become nervous about Google’s dominance of the search market and the lack of competition has meant that advertisers have no choice but to work with Google. The new ten year pact between Yahoo and Microsoft’s new search engine Bing should provide some competition and an alternative for advertisers. Both co0mpanies are hoping that anti-trust regulators will quickly approve the deal, allowing them to implement it next year.
